TVonics is a privately owned independent design and manufacturing company specializing in receivers and recorders for the Freeview market. TVonics are seen as Experts in Freeview and have successfully established themselves as a key player in the UK market. Our task was to provide an efficient direct sales channel.

The Challenge

To open a direct sales channel and bring an emerging brand, operating in a poorly differentiated marketplace to consumers online.

A new, strong identity had been developed to create stand-out for the brand in retail and this was further developed to work effectively online.

Our Response

We recommended the Magento commerce platform for its rich feature set and flexibility, essential for the customisation and integration that was required to meet TVonics specific warehousing and fulfilment needs.

During initial project planning analysis was performed to streamline both the customer front end purchase and back office management processes.

The Results

The search strategy is delivering high quality traffic; the overall site bounce rate is now under 2% and the checkout optimisation has delivered a 300% increase on previous conversion to purchase rates.

The approach is successfully attracting 'ready-to-buy' prospects to the site, and then effectively converting them into purchasing customers.

The result is a cost effective direct sales channel generating significant incremental revenues.
